C RACE HELMET
01/01/2018

Safety for those who practice sports is one of the most important factors, even more so in skiing at a professional level. For this reason, Salice Occhiali, a company that has been one of the leader brands for sports equipment for over 95 years, has introduced the C-Race helmet. Its peculiarity lies in having an outer shell in carbon fiber, a material highly resistant to impact and stress that guarantees maximum protection in the event of falls even at high speed. Moreover, this particular compound makes the helmet extremely light and therefore very comfortable to wear during sport activity. The C-Race helmet has obtained the important FIS RH 2013 certification, the latest and most restrictive norm in terms of safety provided by the International Federation of Winter Sports. With a weight of only about 540 grams, it protects the athletes, absorbing shock even better thanks to its high-density EPS inside. The padding is made of hypo-allergenic and antibacterial material. The helmet provides easy-release micrometric closure even when wearing ski gloves and a padded chin strap to avoid annoying chafing. It also includes an adjustable metal chin guard, which can be purchased separately, easily applicable. C-Race also has a great visual impact due to its minimal design, enriched by small details such as a practical system to lock the goggle: made of rubber and with the Salice Occhiali logo, it is applied on the back of the helmet. With a matte finish, the aggressive character emerges thanks to the contrast with the fluorescent orange color of the inner padding. It is perfect worn with the Salice Occhiali 618, 969 and 608 racing goggles. Certification: CE EN 1077: 2008; ASTM F 2040: 2011. Category of use: Alpine Ski / Race Available colour variants: Carbon
